I Was Craving Sliders So… Gorgonzola Stuffed Turkey Sliders

Sorry, it’s been a while since my last post.  These past two weeks have been hectic!  Even so, I did manage to cook dinner the other night.  I’ve been craving sliders so I made gorgonzola stuffed turkey sliders.

Gorgonzola Stuffed Turkey Sliders

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 4 oz. crumbled gorgonzola
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Potato rolls
  • Arugula
  • Red onion thinly sliced

Season the ground turkey with salt and pepper and using your hands mix well in a bowl.  Using an ice cream scoop, divide the ground turkey into six ping pong sized balls.  Working one patty at a time, divide the patty into two halves, one slightly larger than the other.  Form the larger half into a bowl and place a teaspoon of the crumbled gorgonzola.  Top the gorgonzola with the rest of the ground turkey.  Repeat until you have six patties.

Heat a pan over medium high and spray with non-stick cooking spray.  Cook patties for five minutes on each side.  Meanwhile, slice the potato rolls in half and toast.  Assemble the turkey slider and top with arugula and onion.

Enjoy!
